This error occurs when trying to create a new Broker Database immediately
after installation. You must have the Microsoft Backwards compatibility patch
installed first.
Register the SQLDMO.dll file located in the Microsoft SQL installation
directory using regsvr32.exe.
- Double click the sqldmo.dll
file and "select a program from the list" to open with.
- Click Browse and select
the C:\Windows\system32\regsvr32.exe, then open, then ok.
- You should see "sqldmo.dll was
registered successfully".
