MiPACS Storage Server

Imaging Management Solutions for Radiology—Image Archiving Solutions

The MiPACS Storage Server is a scalable, user-friendly, fast, modular, and affordable PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System). Based on the industry's leading medical imaging engine from LEAD Technologies, the MiPACS Storage Server is designed to work as the heart of a PACS, as well as a central repository for radiology and medical DICOM images and objects.

Built with a philosophy that encompasses a simple, yet practical design, Medicor Imaging has created a product with capabilities and features that exceed those of many other leading PACS servers, but is available at a fraction of the cost. Its affordable pricing model makes it perfect for small to medium-sized facilities trying to move to a digital environment.

The MiPACS Storage Server is remarkably easy to deploy and maintain within any IT environment and provides an ideal way of reducing ongoing PACS administration costs. It is simple to learn, install, configure, use, and service.

MiPACS Storage Server Add-on Modules

The modular design of the MiPACS Storage Server allows you to purchase only what you need. By itself, the MiPACS Storage Server is a comprehensive PACS, but it is capable of much more with the following add-ons:

MiPACS DICOM Router+

The MiPACS DICOM Router+ Add-on is an extremely versatile add-on to the MiPACS Storage Server. It provides PACS administrators a way to create automated workflows triggered by any action on the MiPACS Server. Whether studies need to be pre-fetched to workstations, forwarded to on-call radiologists, or archived to a backup PACS/VNA, the MiPACS DICOM Router+ Add-on can save your clinical and IT staff time by automating these actions. In addition, you can use rules to automatically modify DICOM tags, send email alerts, audit access to VIP patient records, and interact with databases.

MiPACS HL7 Add-on

The MiPACS HL7 add-on enables you to receive both patient update and order information using an HL7 interface on the MiPACS Server. It can receive ADT messages for updates (ADT A31, ADT A40), and can receive ADT check-in messages and ORM messages to populate a worklist. This can be used as an interface to provide modality worklist (in combination with our MWL Add-on) to clients based on ADT and ORM messages incoming. The HL7 add-on does not have an outgoing interface.

MiPACS Modality Worklist

The MiPACS Modality Worklist Add-On provides Modality Worklist Service Class Provider (SCP) services in addition to the DICOM services supported by the MiPACS Storage Server. Electronic Health Records and Radiology Information Systems that need to provide patient orders and demographic data to modalities can utilize the MiPACS Modality Worklist without needing to implement DICOM services within those applications. Simply populate a Microsoft SQL database with the order information, and the MiPACS Modality Worklist will provide that information to the modalities that require it.

MiPACS HTML5 Web Viewer

The MiPACS HTML5 Web Viewer requires no installation on clients and is compatible with any HTML5-compliant web browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 and up, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, MacOS Safari, iPad, iPhone, Android and more.

The MiPACS HTML5 Web Viewer can also be purchased as a stand-alone product and can integrate with any third-party DICOM PACS.
