Import Non-DICOM Images into MiPACS

Importing non-DICOM images into MiPACS is simple and we created the guide below to show you how to do it!

Option 1: Use Windows Clipboard

  1. If you have access to the Windows clipboard, select the image(s), right-click, and click copy (use CTRL to select multiple images)
  2. Open the patient in MiPACS and select a template
  3. In the top menu bar, select Image > Import Images
  4. In the pop-up screen, select Paste
  5. Select okay to finalize the import
  6. Adjust/rearrange the images as necessary

Option 2: Save Images to Hard Drive

  1. Save the images you want to import and put them in an easy to locate place
  2. Open the patient in MiPACS and select a template
  3. In the top menu bar, select Image > Import Images
  4. In the pop-up screen, select Browse
  5. Navigate to the images you want to import and select the images (use CTRL to select multiple images)
  6. Select okay to finalize the import
  7. Adjust/rearrange the images as necessary
